The Story of Grounded Coffee Collective

Grounded Coffee Collective began with two people, two cities, and a shared passion for great coffee. One of us in Columbus, the other in Cincinnati—coming together whenever we could over good coffee and long conversations.

Coffee became more than a drink. It became how we slowed down, stayed present, and built something together. That sense of intention and connection is what inspired the name Grounded.

We started small, roasting limited batches as a cottage operation out of our homes, selling beans directly to friends, local supporters, and early clients who believed in what we were building. Every bag sold helped shape both our coffee and our vision.

The word Collective reflects the people who’ve been part of the journey—from growers to customers to community partners. What began as a small roastery is growing intentionally, with plans to expand our wholesale presence and eventually open cafés that feel warm, welcoming, and real.
